Turkey Eggs

Why don't we eat turkey eggs? Does anyone know? And has anyone ever eaten a chicken omellete? That's pretty sick and twisted if you have. It's a momma chicken wrapped in a cute little baby chicken. To each his own, I guess. I wonder what Mary and Joseph had to eat on that first Christmas. The materialism of Christmas is a subject that has been talked to death. Everyone knows that Christmas is too materialistic so we don't need to go on and on about it. Nevertheless it is a fact, but it's not something that will change by preaching about it. Like most things it's a personal change in our mode of doing things. It is me deciding that from the start I'll teach my kids what really matters about Christmas. I mean REALLY TEACH them, not just a few off the cuff remarks on Christmas morning, but a true immersion in the story and the true magic of our Saviors birth and how that was the magical start of the most dynamic 33 years in human history that culminated Messiah's death on the cross. But to teach these things even to my kids it again goes back to me and my attitude and how I act out my belief that Jesus birth was a miracle that impacts everything I do.
If anyone is still reading this, please let me know about the Turkey eggs!
God bless!

New House

Don't count our house out yet! We got a very promising call today regarding financing for our new house in Elk River. For those who don't know we got a blow a couple weeks ago when we were told that we would need 20% down by the same guy that said he could finance us 100%. The possibility of not getting the house was alittle hard to swallow, but we took it as God saying He's got a different plan for us. We'll just have to wait and see what comes of this development, but please pray for us because we want to make the right decision. What ever happens, we've learned alot about waiting on God, although it seems like we still have soooo much to learn!
